Wedding Detail: Monogrammed Pocket Squares

This week while we're honeymooning we thought it would be fun to share some more background behind some of the details we incorporated into the big day. One of the many handmade details from our wedding included hand stitched monogram pocket squares from Jessica of Miniature Rhino on Etsy...

We ordered 7 variations, all in the same gray chambray to compliment the charcoal groomsmen suits and lighter gray bridesmaid dresses, with different color hand stitching for each monogram:

Tim had them made for each of his groomsmen (his dad, brother and son) along with 3 more for my dad, nephew and best guy friend, Stephen, who read at the ceremony. All of the groomsmen and Tim wore theirs with the monograms overhanging their suit coat pockets in lieu of boutonnieres:

That sure is a good looking group of Vidra men if I don't say so myself! I had one made for Tim with yellow stitching that reads "T heart M" instead of his monogram:

We couldn't be more thrilled at how they all turned out and look forward to sharing more photos of how they looked when worn throughout the wedding. We hope they will be a personalized keepsake and memento from the big day for each of the guys.

See more pics and learn more behind the story of their making over on Jessica's blog, Miniature Rhino.
