Herriott Grace

Herriott Grace from Supplemental on Vimeo.

We have long admired the work behind Herriott Grace and have loved the products they make for some time now. When we came across the above video outlining the story behind the family, it gave us a little insight behind the beliefs of why they do what they do — and now we are even bigger fans.

Quotes that resonated most from the video for us include:

"A piece of wood should be treated with hands, not machines."

"The older the fishing rod the older the reel."

"There cannot be pressure from the shop, then it is just work."

So today's post can be as long or as short as you have time for.
  • For the long version watch the 25 minute video above then subscribe to their blog —then visit the Herriott Grace shop where things move fast and you'll get sucked in even further!
  • For the short version of today's post, simply check out their story page. Either way we are confident you will become fans of all of their work.

  1. That was so.stinking.cool! It was bitter sweet, because his childhood and almost zero connection with siblings was sad, but oh my his work space is amazing and I love the bond he has with his daughter.
