When ready for some banana ice cream, just add the frozen bananas to your nifty blender and whizz (this will be noisey but stick with it, it's worth it). Once the noise lessens, turn off the blender and scoop out your creamy, yummy banana ice cream, it really is yummy...BUT, while it's still in the blender, if you drop a spoonful of Nutella in the the banana pieces and whizz together, it's even better =)Shelleynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6557891584261110923.post-66291143773089960342013-04-23T12:06:38.987-04:002013-04-23T12:06:38.987-04:00Alton Brown has long been a proponent of using fro...Alton Brown has long been a proponent of using frozen fruit and letting the ingredients thaw a little in the fridge the night before. This ensures that you don't have to use ice in the smoothie as once it starts to melt, it waters the drink down. The partially frozen bananas and fruit give the smoothie a creaminess that allows you to leave out the yogurt if you want.Matthew Carberrynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6557891584261110923.post-86764553333211494122012-05-28T10:49:55.952-04:002012-05-28T10:49:55.952-04:00Hahaha, Lisa!Hahaha, Lisa!17aparthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18176955042705963326noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6557891584261110923.post-11442903571876442702012-05-28T10:49:43.915-04:002012-05-28T10:49:43.915-04:00Nutella!!!!Nutella!!!!17aparthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18176955042705963326noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6557891584261110923.post-56496930828145799092012-05-28T10:49:18.007-04:002012-05-28T10:49:18.007-04:00Oh wow — love the idea of cinnamon to kick things ...Oh wow — love the idea of cinnamon to kick things up, thanks for the tip!17aparthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18176955042705963326noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6557891584261110923.post-88104868893461994642012-05-22T18:49:59.584-04:002012-05-22T18:49:59.584-04:00Whenever I read or hear Waring Blender, Warren Zev...Whenever I read or hear Waring Blender, Warren Zevon's Poor, Poor Pitiful Me comes to mind!Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09291965450962561237noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6557891584261110923.post-43122525016905149442012-05-22T17:55:10.171-04:002012-05-22T17:55:10.171-04:00I do strawberries, a tbsp of Nutella, a tbsp of wh...I do strawberries, a tbsp of Nutella, a tbsp of whey protein, some watermelon, blueberries, and 1/2 a cup of coconut milk.
