Here in Florida I just buried some o...Ginger works! Here in Florida I just buried some old ginger I had bought and it looked old. I cut the little I had in half and buried pieces in a fairly shallow pot and left outside. It just keeps multiplying. When I need it, I just dig around and slice off however much I need. It has multiplied enough this year, after having in the pot for a year and a half, that I'm going to dig up some of it, dehydrate and powder it.
