Over on eHow: DIY Wine Stoppers

A few weekends ago we stopped in our local rock shop (and one of my old childhood haunts), Packard's Rocks & Stamps, to pick out a handful of natural rocks and crystals for a project we had in mind. We ended up making these sparkling crystal wine stoppers from our findings and have the full project detailed out over on eHow today (check it out here).

For right around $10 and minimal effort, we have a set of new wine stoppers — perfect for dressing up the open bottles we keep on the counter. We love how they turned out, giving off a natural vibe that Mary calls fancy.

These also make for a budget-friendly housewarming or hostess gift when paired with your favorite bottle of wine. Click here to see the full project and first in our DIY series for eHow!
