We've been excited to share more of the story and final photos from our wedding back in June, and today you can get a much bigger glimpse into our big day, featured in the Etsy Weddings series. Pinch me!
To give a little background, as a DIY lover and member of the Etsy team, it was hard not to blow our entire wedding budget exclusively on Etsy. In the end, we did end up finding that magic mix of taking on what we could handle ourselves, supporting Etsy designers and local vendors.

When it comes to Etsy, we loved feeling like we could get completely unique and customized details for the wedding that fit our personalities and tastes. I also love knowing that custom ordering so much for our wedding from Etsy helped directly support the work of independent business owners all over the world.
Outside of tangible goods like our paper suite and wedding party dresses, most of the supplies for our own diy projects came from Etsy too — from the netting for my diy veil to the gold doilies, kraft paper and seed paper for our save the dates.
